She Found Her Passion

After years spent selling everything from airtime for a radio station to insurance, a Monarch Butterfly * followed Carla into an interview for a sales position in the furniture industry. Within four short months of joining the company, she achieved remarkable success by exceeding company sales goals and earning an award. However, the recognition came with stipulations. She left that company and shifted her focus to assisting other businesses in their growth journey by introducing new products and collaborating with new manufacturers.

From Cozy Nook to Warehouse Grand

After years of working 11-hour days for other businesses, she wondered if she could succeed independently. In 2008, she turned that vision into a reality. However, like most small businesses, there were the ‘lean years’ when she built chairs in a spare bedroom. When she outgrew that, she built chairs in her shed, and when the business outgrew that, she rented a small warehouse!

Sixteen years later, that vision is Monarch Office Furniture, a thriving 30,000-square-foot showroom and warehouse in Coppell, Texas.
